back to the beach

it was 75 and sunny in sf today so we headed to baker beach.
the kids walking hand in hand while collecting rocks to bring back to us. they were so cute together.
daddy burying ryder's legs
aaahhhh, i have no legs!

quinn thought that looked fun, so she did it too

relaxing night at home

we all love to have a nice chill night at home! home made pizza, a good movie, and then, of coarse, popcorn (oh, and some yummy cherries too).

the eagle has landed!

after what seemed to be the longest trip ever we finally made it back to sf! a long 5 hour car ride and then had to quickly board a plane, where our seats were rows a part, no one wanted to switch spots, i was sitting between some of the midwests finest corn feed gals, jesse and i were passing quinn back and forth, while trying to eat burritos, read books, chew gum so our ears would feel better, oh and restrain ourselves from cursing at the business man who had no idea how challenging it is for a 4 year to keep his legs still (yes, he was the man sitting in front of ryder, but did he want to switch seats when we were pleading with everyone, NO......go figure!). fortunately about 30 minutes into our flight a lovely passenger helped us out and then our family was reunited in one row:) we all did just fine, as for everyone else.....who f'in cares!

so excited to see the city! homey home home!!!
yeah, we are bad ass!

does this make my head look big?

i swear jesse always catches the smallest fish!
hmmmm, is this a keeper?

a little convo with grandpa, on the river in rhinelander, can it get any better than this!

just the girls

i found this picture and had to post it. it's from our stay in birchwood, when my girl friend laura was visiting, and then my wonderful friends, hillary and amanda (and her daughter lexie) came to visit us too. we all had such a great time together, and quinn enjoyed all the girls!!

relaxing before we head to rhinelander

after a full and exciting couple of weeks we are taking a few days to re-cooperate (ryder got a little run down). we head out tomorrow morning, where we will visit with the entire mangerson clan, and daddy (it's been over 2 weeks and we are all really missing him!).

time to get dirty

we went to the hunting cabin and went 4 wheeling. everyone got good and dirty and laura drove a 4 wheeler for the first time! the boys loved this adventure (and quinn was strapped to me in the ergo, she was just looking at the scenery). you just gotta love nature.

toby and laura come for a visit

our really good friends from san francisco came to visit us in birchwood. yes, us city girls got good and dirty! it was so much fun and the boys had a blast together:) this just may be a new tradition for our families.
this is laura baiting the hook (with a huge fat night crawler). she took this job because she wasn't that good at casting! what a trooper.
toby's first fish!
we also went to hayward, for some go karting, mini golf, and then we had to hit up the best candy store ever.....tremblay's! they have the best salt water taffy and fudge there, yum yum.

toby loved to be the captain of the boat.

skate city

they were so cute roller skating together....well, it was mostly falling over, but it was so fun!!!

s'more

fishing with cohen

we went out to the crawfords and brought the boys fishing! it was so fun! after we located the bluegill the boys were reeling in fish like every 2 minutes. it was a very busy boat:)

words from the wise

3 sisters and 1 brother, hanks lake, hilarious stories, lots of wisdom......

oh and some tequila!

practice makes perfect

grandpapa brought home some fishing poles for the boys. they went out and practiced casting so they were ready for our fishing trip.

sunday boat ride

the day after the grad party.....can you tell who had fun the night before?
quinn just loves the boat, and the water! she would jump over if we let her.

a view of big birch lake....so beautiful!

the girls

quinn and sierra getting ready for a little cruz. quinn loves this little car!

bug catcher from mimi

holding the giant moth that we captured for our bug collection.

mimi is holding the little bug house (unfortunately most of the critters didn't survive....but we learned a lot about them).

cuz

uncle troy

i can't believe he has graduated high school, i still remember carrying him around singing lullabies (i was so lucky to have my own little baby brother at the age of 12). troy's graduation party was a blast. lots of yummy food, lots of drinks, lots of wild kids, and mother may i. yes, troy's band played. it was so cool and the kids loved it (they were all rockin to their uncles tunes).

sorry for the lack of updates! we are in wisconsin, in the woods! lots happening here and i am trying to capture as much as i can. the kids are loving the space, the fresh air, the lakes, the fish, and of coarse, all the family! i will try and post some pictures when i get a chance.
