parfait
this chair is too big!
learning curve
quinn has become very interested in going pee. unfortunately she believes her pee comes out her belly button. i have a feeling this idea came from watching her brother and just making that concept work with her own body (notice the little bounce she does when she's finished). so glad to have this on video!
rody
i brought home this little horse, named rody, a few months ago. it's the funniest looking thing and the kids are hilarious on it (and yes both jesse and i have bounced on him too!). he allows the kids to bounce around (working on balance), and is also a nice squishy place to sit and chill.

busy bees
we are just so busy over here! lets see......trying to wrap up ryder's last few weeks at pre school, the bemis girls ran the "bay to breakers" (which was a wild race here in SF), the kids both managed to get sick (which lead me to the urgent care twice in one week), jesse finished his spring semester, and we are now getting ready to head to WI next week. oh, and we are still trying to deal with the unfortunate cards we got dealt from SFUSD (public school). they claim it's diversity working, i think otherwise! more to come on that topic as it unfolds later this summer:)

fashion statement
quinn is becoming more and more interested in choosing her own attire. this is what she wanted to where one day when she was home with daddy. a sense of fashion? i guess we'll have to see:)
a little friday night fun
when was the last time you went bowling? omg, it's so much fun, especially with a four year old. this was ryder' s first time and he was, like always, a natural. we went to this lovely bowling alley in the presidio (one of our favorite forested neighborhoods in the city).
the wind up
quinn was having tons of fun too!!

zoologist?
ryder has a new passion in life: animals. it started with dogs, cats, you know the typical domesticated fur balls. now he has become very interested in bugs, slugs, worms, snails, and the newest, spiders (especially tarantulas). so he came home from school one day with a pet snail, whom he named 'snaily', and in that same day, on his field trip to the zoo, the kids got to meet a mexican red knee tarantula, and ryder was the only child that had the spider crawl on him (can you believe that.....wow!!). oh, and fyi: i draw the line at a snail (no spiders for us!), so we just check out many many books from the library!
i totally fit
this little stroller has been quite a hit around our house. quinn pushes her babies, and many other things around the apartment for hours, and ryder will take a turn when he gets a chance (although he usually starts running at some point). now that quinn is really into climbing onto and into everything she decided the stroller was a perfect fit. she called for ryder after she got in, and he just started pushing her around. it was so cute and they were both having tons of fun. i was a little nervous the stroller was going to collapse, but this time i just let the kids play:)
